Malik family - homemade Nepali Paper Jewelry





The story begins...


Day 4 / Kathmandu,Nepal :


''We need people to market our products...''

Meeting Malik's family.Sarita,the Newari woman who make beautiful products at home.She introduct her recent creation : the recycle-papar hand-rolled beads.She can turn them into nice jewelery.Bracelets,necklaces and earings.Choose the colors and design I like,she will be able to form a team member(all woman team,who needs works to do at home) to make the beads and the jeweleries.



The Nepali eco-paper,very strong,water-resistant,can last for more than 100 years.Those Carefully hand-rolled beads,very light and very comfortable to wear.



Sarita,a talented lady with multiskills.She draw,she tailor,she sew.She customize and she has her own products to let you choose from and she welcome large quantity order.





Her existing handmade&homemade products included: jute-belt,hand-bags,woolen products,dresses.



( I went to visit their home couple of times.She make products in the small living room.I witnessed their home environment.If their living standard can be improved by the earning from business they doing now.I wish to do something for them...)





After 10 days of the working time,Sarita presented the astonished jewellery that she made according to my designs and color selections.
